Artefact Exhibition
In ARTEFACT, visual artists Malcolm Attryde, Laurie Harpum, Victoria Hayman and Marissa Mardon create new work in response to viewing the fascinating and extensive historical collection at the Royal Engineers Museum in Brompton, Gillingham. With the four artists possessing a diverse range of talents, exhibition goers can expect a mixture of sculpture, paintings and three dimensional mixed media works that in some way reflect or are inspired by the unique ingenuity and inventiveness of the Royal Engineers from over the centuries.

KENT ARTIST NETWORK INAUGURAL EXHIBITION AT THE CREATIVE HEART OF KENT & MEDWAY
It all started 6 months ago, with a Facebook group created by Jill Holder for Kent based artists to find one another and share ideas, their work, and support for one another. Since then, the Kent Artist Network (KAN) has rapidly grown from strength to strength. The group currently has over 200 members across all artistic disciplines from painting to sculpture, photography to contemporary jewellery.
We are thrilled to announce our inaugural exhibition at the Nucleus Arts Centre in Chatham from 12-17th July 2014, with a private viewfrom 6-8pm on Friday, 11th July.
This exhibition offers an unrivalled opportunity to meet some of Kent’s most talented professional artists, and to view and buy cutting edge art from across the county.
