Michael Foreman 

As a visual artist living and working in east Kent, I am passionate about organising events and courses that make the arts more accessible to the general public. Visual arts have been at the centre of my professional work for over twenty years, whether running public events and courses, working with young people in care or teaching art and photography in secondary schools.

 

My own work is primarily concerned with painting and the way in which images are aesthetically structured, blurring the lines between the representational and the abstract.

I regularly work with Creek Creative Gallery in Faversham, where I have set up public events and education programmes as well as courses and classes. I also have links with The Horsebridge Centre in Whitstable, where my quarterly, multi-model, day-long life drawing events “Naked Ambitions” are hosted.I currently collaborate with a wide variety of people; artists, artisans, musicians, students, clients, managers and business leaders.
