Earlier this year we where asked to put on an exhibition for the Royal Engineers Museum in Bromptom so we choose a few artist who's work we felt complimented each other based on the space and brief.
I am very glad to report that is was a wonderful success with wonderful feedback.
In ARTEFACT, visual artists Malcolm Attryde, Laurie Harpum, Victoria Hayman and Marissa Mardon create new work in response to viewing the fascinating and extensive historical collection at the Royal Engineers Museum in Brompton, Gillingham. With the four artists possessing a diverse range of talents, exhibition goers can expect a mixture of sculpture, paintings and three dimensional mixed media works that in some way reflect or are inspired by the unique ingenuity and inventiveness of the Royal Engineers from over the centuries.
